The movie theater is a great place to go and relax after a hard days work and to be able to watch a movie on the big screen with great sound behind it. But going to the theater today can be pretty expensive especially if you are taking the family. Assuming a family of 4 people by the time you pay the admission, buy popcorn, soda and candy it could easily cost you $50 to $60.
Today you can get a home theater set up on almost any budget. You can buy a 32” hdtv on sale for about $400, a dvd player for under $50 and a surround sound system as low as $150. So for about $600 you can have a home theater in your living room. When you stop and consider paying $50 to take the family to see a movie and let’s say you go twice a month, your home theater would be paid off in 6 months.
You may now instead of watching 2 movies a month at the theater, you can enjoy watching an unlimited amount of movies with your family in the comfort of your own home. You can build a low end or high end system, you install it in your living or family room or build a super theater in your basement. What ever is in your budget there is a home theater for you.
